Diversity Councils provide governance and oversight of the implementation of the System’s diversity, inclusion and equity strategy at each member organization. Diversity Councils understand the unique needs of its member organization and its community to ensure it is in alignment with the System’s mission and vision.

An Employee Resource Group (ERG) is defined as a group of team members who come together around common interests, issues, and backgrounds and exist to provide organizational support, networking, and professional development opportunities for its members. ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace.
